A place for families to share their journeys in their own words. No story is shared without permission. Every voice deserves dignity.
Invitation only · Private by default · Your permission matters
Verified by video contactEvery family featured by Wandering Sadhu is contacted by video as part of our verification process before sharing their story. Publication also requires the family’s permission.
ONE PROJECT · THREE WAYS TO CONNECT
Choose the part of Wandering Sadhu that matters to you. Stories are shared only with permission, and family tools remain private.
How we verify families: We speak with families by video before featuring their stories. This helps us confirm who we are speaking with, but video contact alone cannot independently verify every detail of a family’s circumstances.
STORIES SHARED WITH CONSENT
Only stories shared with permission appear here.
FROM OUR STORYTELLING PROJECT
These introductions began on the original Wandering Sadhu site. Fatima's and Rasha/Dareen's stories now include their originally published photographs and videos within the three chapters, while the media files remain hosted by the original site. No new family accounts have been created from these stories.

SUPPORT CIRCLES · STORIES AND SUPPORT
Support Circles are now focused on family-led stories, updates and voluntary assistance. There is no new public Circle chat or member registration at this stage. Being featured here never obliges a family to respond to supporters.
FAMILIES AT THE HEART OF OUR CIRCLES
Fatima, Hayat and Rasha/Dareen helped shape the original Support Circles project. You can read their public stories and follow approved updates. Private Circle chat is paused for new participation; existing conversations remain preserved separately.

THE PURPOSE
Wandering Sadhu connects people through the simple act of listening. A family can share its experience privately, review it, and decide whether it should appear publicly.
OUR JOURNEY
Wandering Sadhu grew from conversations with Palestinian families and a wish to listen before speaking, build trust, and share stories with care — one family at a time. Its name draws on the tradition of the wandering sadhu: a journey grounded in reflection, simplicity and human connection.
SUPPORT CIRCLES
Support Circles focus on family-led stories, updates and voluntary assistance. The private group-chat feature is paused for new participation, and existing conversations remain preserved in the original system. Families decide how much they wish to share.
Start with the family's own public story.
Follow family-approved updates; no chat membership is required.
Offer support without expecting access, updates or gratitude in return.
Support Circles are currently a stories-and-support initiative, not an open chat or automated matching service. No family is enrolled in private messaging without a separate agreement.
Video contact helps confirm who we are speaking with. It is not a guarantee that every statement, document, need or fundraising claim can be independently confirmed.
We never require a donation in exchange for a story. Fundraising links are optional and shared only after review.

This is a preview only. It will not publish anything. Your sign-in email, messages and private photo never appear here.
You may upload up to 10 photos for private administrator review after saving your story. It will never be shown publicly by this feature. Location metadata will be stripped, but the image itself could still identify people or places.
